Do you sign a BAA?
Yes. We sign a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with medical and dental practices.
Is there a HIPAA certification?
No official HIPAA certification exists for IT companies. We put the technical safeguards in place and help with the documentation. Compliance itself always stays the practice's responsibility.
How often should backups be tested?
We recommend a test restore at least once a quarter, and after any big change. A backup only counts if you can get your files back from it.
